Whats the best cream for eczema?

i have suffered with eczema for a few years on the backs of my legs and have always treated it with eurax lotion/cream or e45 but this year it has flared up and nothing seems to be workin - it has spread all over the lower part of my legs and just looks horrible - does anybody know of any cream that could help??? thankyou|||I swear by Fluocinonide (commonly known as Lidex). It%26#039;s available by prescription only but totally worth it! It works really quickly too compared to other things! It is a steroid cream.|||see your gp about why its flared up -perhaps give you a steroid cream to help - but long term continued use is not a good idea - only use for acute outbreaks.

or

sudacrem (over the counter) - this dries out any weeping you may have - use a non perfumed moisturiser when the skin is intact afterwards.

or

betnovate (prescription)

or

fucidin H (steroid prescription cream) and there are others.

Sometimes a change from one standard non steroid cream to another does the trick, but if all else fails your doctor may give the steroid cream.

Hope its better soon - don%26#039;t scratch!! when itchy and annoying cool it off with cold water and pat dry, no rubbing, to avoid scratching.|||The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.

After using number of prescription drugs I%26#039;ve turned to the natural treatments.

Now I use herbal remedies from serenaskin.com, which aim at the root of the disease - the immune system, and are steroid-free.

After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with anti-eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.

It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.|||Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet (just google %26quot;natural treatment of eczema%26quot;) and take your pick. Some of them do actually work. For my atopic eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they then stay clear for months on end.

Try it: Champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn%26#039;t work - it%26#039;s free.

Cheers,

Stella|||HI,

There is a range of skin care products designed specifically for eczema called %26#039;allergenics%26#039; for babies and adults.

Here are some comments of users of this range of products.

%26quot;My son was getting really bad eczema at the back of his knees and on his arms and it took ages for it to settle before using this ointment. It works really well and you don%26#039;t need to put loads on. Recommended%26quot;

%26quot;My skin has become very dry and sensitive since becoming pregnant and allergenics skin lotion is the only moisturiser I have found that sooths my skin and stops it itching - excellent stuff!%26quot;

%26quot;Already the dry sore skin below my eyes and on my neck is fading and feels more comfortable. I have very senstive skin and I am very wary of the normal cosmetic products.... which caused this problem in the first place!%26quot;

%26quot;My husband was given cream for a skin complaint, it only made the condition worse. As we were on holiday in Torquay %26amp; the skin was much worse I found your cream in a chemist. It started to heal the skin allmost immediately. I am more than pleased to reccommend this to anyone A Aldridge%26quot;

I have included a link to an eczema website below that should give you loads of information. I have also included the link of where to buy the allergenics products with free delivery.

My brother when he was younger had bad eczema, it was so bad that even water would make it burn, he used to have to wash in the cream, mum would cover him in it then wipe it off gently with cotton buds, now his eczema has nearly gone apart from on his feet.

Look the cream up

It worked great for us. Also the steriod creams, but I swear the Elidel was amazing.
