Childrens eczema cream ingridients?

After trying numerous creams from the doctor on my 7 month son which didn%26#039;t work other than steroid creams I decided to try something from a chinese herbal shop.

I got some herbal tea and cream that the man said had natural ingredients in them which ive been using for a few days now that has worked a little bit on the face but not on the arms.

The cream named %26quot;children%26#039;s eczema cream%26quot; is mostly written in chinese other that the name and the ingredients which are..Radix Glycyrrhizae, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Indigo Naturalis, Nitroglycerol and Waxes.

Any know anything about these ingredients wether theyre safe of not?|||My 5 month old suffers with eczema all over her body. The Dr%26#039;s prescribed her Epaderm which is good although I need to apply 3-4 times a day to keep her skin moisturised. I%26#039;ve also been given Diprobase which is another emollient alternative.

Jojoba oil is also a good natural alternative as is propolis...just make sure the products you might buy are alcohol and fragrance free.

Diet can also affect eczema so note what foods you give your LO and monitor how bad/good the eczema seems. Avocado is supposed to be a good food to give eczema sufferers...there are other foods too but I can%26#039;t remember them. Check out the National Eczema Association website and it should tell you on there.

I%26#039;ve used Chinese herbal medicines before given by Chinese herbalists and personally, they%26#039;ve never worked for me. But when your LO is itchy and uncomfortable with eczema, I%26#039;d try anything as long as I knew it was safe.

Best of luck!|||i have no idea, but i had the same problem with my son and the doctors kept prescribing creams that just made my sons skin worse.

but then i was advised by my health visitor to try this creme called %26#039;EPADERM%26#039; which worked wonders on my baby. his skin is soo smoth and soft. but get your doctor to prescribe it as it is very expensive. (about 拢7 for 200g)|||best thing to do is look them up on the net and ask the dr.
