My 2 yr son has eczema & we've seen many specialists, allergists. Tried various creams, what else can we do?

Exczema is an allergic reaction to something. Try eliminating one thing at a time from his diet and environment.

Tea tree oil works great to stop the outbreak, but nothing cures exczema except eliminating the allergen(s) causing it. Most allergists deal only with pollen caused allergies. It could be anything - laundry soap, cleaning products used in the home, food types, dyes used in food or clothing items, colognes/perfumes, lotions, etc.

Mine always breaks out when I eat something with tomato sauce in it (lasagna, pizza, spaghetti, etc.), but since I love some of those foods, I still eat them, just not very often. :)My 2 yr son has eczema %26amp; we've seen many specialists, allergists. Tried various creams, what else can we do?
Just for your info Renew skin lotion has high grade tea tree oil in it. But it is non drying so it works better than plain tea tree oil. Report Abuse

I've had success with applying a clay mask to the affected areas and leaving it on an hour or more. Also, I'm starting to hear that it might be due to a B-12 deficiency, which would make sense in that I have a problem with that.

I just did a google, and it does look like topical B-12 will help and should be available in a few months.
try useing a blood tonic.

Burdock and Yellow Dock decoction works by cleansing the blood( in his case make it weak)

also use Flax seed oil capsules or liquid
