Anyone know of an eczema cream that works and doesn't bleach the skin?
My 2 1/2 year old has terrible eczema where her shoes rub, and on the front and backs of her knees. Sometimes even at the top of her thighs in the back. I have been given triamcinolone, which I don%26#039;t use anymore because it made huge white splotches all over her legs that won%26#039;t go away. I have also used over the counter hydrocortizone (sp?) and Elidel. I have tried thick creams (i.e. Eucerin) and Vaseline. Just wondering if anyone has found something that actually works and won%26#039;t bleach her skin. OR, are the white patches maybe scar tissue? Is it the eczema itself that is causing the discoloration?|||My son had eczema on his tush on and off for a year.... After many visits to the pediatrician and after trying many prescriptions nothing was working.... I researched it on-line and decided to try Cetiphil soap and lotion. After about two weeks of using this combination, the rash is gone! I definitely recommend Cetiphil products.
