Is there an over the counter eczema cream?

try cetaphil lotion.my dermatologist recommended that for me when I was first diagnosed with eczema 4 years ago and continue to use it.and if you buy the lotion, you might as well buy the Cetaphil body soap as well.another product is Eucerin.it%26#039;s a great calming lotion for dry itchy skin and is good for eczema.use it daily.and you should see results.other products are aveeno products like the Aveeno calming cream that comes in a little tube.it works great.take care and goodluck.|||Its not marketed for eczema, but I think cetaplil cream is the best.|||Elidel is by prescription, but it really knocks eczema out! Sometimes you can get a discount from the pharmaceutical company.|||My daugher has Eczema the doctor told us to get aveeno lotion for during the day for dry spots or itching. After her bath which is every other day I rub her from head to toe with eucrin lotion. This stuff is pretty thick and dosent rub in real well so I put it on at bedtime. She also takes a over the counter allergy med. every day at bed time. If the Eczema is so bad it is weepy and red then you need a perscription steroid cream. So far the aveeno and eucrin is working great.|||Try Hydro-Cortizone It helps. It%26#039;s not like any of the RX strenth meds of course. But it helps with the itching. Also, try oatmeal bathes. They are really soothing for the itching. I know it sounds wierd, but it works.
