then i recently went to a dermatologist and he gave me a medicine thats liquid and it%26#039;s called clobetasol propionate topical solution and then i put vasaline or some kind of moisturizer
this medicine might burn a little for the first few days but it%26#039;s all worth it
ask ur doctor
it was like a miracle for me|||First, you need to see a dermatologist to see which cream he recomends for you. A really good OTC cream is called Eucerin cream and you can get it at WalMart, moisturizing is the most important thing for eczema, also be careful not to use harsh soaps and try to keep your hands in a cool environment, sweating causes more flare ups.|||For my daughter we use Eucerine calming cream for everyday use and if she has break outs we found Elidel works the best. We tried about 5 different prescriptions before landing on Elidel. But I would recommend not using it for more than a few days at a time because you%26#039;re body can develope a tolerance to the medicine. My peditrician recommends 7 days on the prescription Elidel and 7 days off. That helps to limit the development of immunities.
Oh also I forgot to mention... someone recommended a special soap to use for our daughter as well. It%26#039;s called La Roche Posse and comes from France. I had to order it online because they dont%26#039; sell it in stores. Some dermatoligists sell it in their offices though. It works pretty good for her.|||I found that Elocon(can%26#039;t spell) is good. Wearing gloves might irritate it more as it makes your hands sweat.|||On my hands I use George%26#039;s Hand Cream. It%26#039;s greasy, but it feels so nice when my hands are dry and irritated. When I have to wear gloves (I too worked at a job that required me to wear them) I would put it on first, and it would moisturize and soothe while I was wearing them.
When it gets super bad, I will use Elidel, my prescription.
To one of the other answerers up there, I think the first one: Sometimes one doesn%26#039;t have a choice. If you have a job where you are required to wear gloves, you wear them. That%26#039;s all there is to it. When you have someone to support or jobs are scarce or any myriad of other reasons, you wear those gloves, and deal with the eczema as it comes.|||I know what you mean. I had the same things on my hands when I was younger..I know that My Grandfather Had got me %26quot; Emu Oil %26quot; From a friend and that cleared it up..but didn%26#039;t keep it away ( I%26#039;d scratch and it wold come right back ) So my doctor prescribed me A steroid cream..And I%26#039;ve been Free of it for about 2 years now.
Good luck =)|||There is a new product out now that is helping this, You can go to
{ genniesalve.com } and check it out . Good Luck|||I use prescription ointment, triamcinolone. Try to use soaps and lotions with no dyes or fragrances. Gold bond lotion works pretty well too.|||There%26#039;s a product called Lachydrin-5. It%26#039;s awesome, a little pricey, but excellent. It was recommended to me by my doctor.|||Some people manage with just lotions/moisturizers. Have you ever tried using evening primrose oil for your eczema? It%26#039;s an all natural remedy.
