Can you use Preparation H cream for eczema?
I have the Canadian version with Bio-Dyne. I brought it for under eye puffiness. I wonder if I can be use for eczema, It indicate that it relieves pain %26amp; itch.|||No... the pain and itching that Preparation H is used for is dilated blood vessels. Eczema is dry skin. You need to moisturize daily... and go see your doctor. They will prescribe a steroid cream for the itch and inflammation of eczema.|||Don%26#039;t put cream for piles on your face sweetheart.|||I dont remember where, but I read somewhere that you shouldnt be using preparation-H for anything other than what it%26#039;s supposed to be used for.|||Check the active ingredients, if it contains some type of hydrocortison then it should be ok on the eczema, if there is something else in there who knows if it will help or make it worse.|||check with a pharmacist|||I have eczema also. I use hydrocortizone and eucerin calming cream. Just get a small container and combine equal amounts of the 2. It works for me.|||my hemroid keeps on talking to me, and it%26#039;s sayin eczema is also good for puffy eyes.|||Cortisone, Eucerin, and dial soap are what I have found work the best. And recently found that alcohol wipes work well too to try out the rash.|||I have heard of it being used for that before, but I don%26#039;t know how effective it is. I guess if it works for you, that is all that matters.|||the best thing to use is an oatmeal bath, lost of unscented lotion and hydrocordozone cream for the itching.............
