Are there creams out there who help collagen built up in your skim?

And if so, which brands?|||So this is a general overview of treatments, both home and professional, that can help boost the collagen production in your skin.

Professional methods are the best for increasing collagen in the skin:

Lasers: Genesis and Medlite are reported to have excellent effects, only to be administered by licensed dermatologists.

Facial Light Therapy

Glycolic acid peels (Never ever ever do this at home!)

You can buy creams that stimulate collagen production in your skin:

Over the counter products with retinol are incredible for reparing the skin after collagen loss: Skinceutical Retinol 1.0 is the strongest dosage available. I%26#039;d reccommend this for mature skin. Either severe wrinkling or for those over 55-60. For 30s use .25% Found in neutrogena and roc, for 40%26#039;s and 50%26#039;s use .50% found in skinceuticals lower dosage.

Topical Vitamin C: This doesn%26#039;t mean if you eat a load of oranges you%26#039;ll suddenly have great skin. No you need to use creams that contain vitamin c. The reason why I recommend it is because jumpstarts your skin%26#039;s collagen production and studies have emerged that show it can combat tissue inhibitors that are responsible for the breakdown in your skin. However few products retain the efficacity of Vit C once packaged, and once opened it can deteriorate upon exposure to light in air. My advice? Try a stabilised vit C cream, they usually contain L-ascorbic acid which studies are show maintains

Peptide treatments are also a great way to stimulate the synthesis of collagen. Olay Regenerist is a good and inexpensive cream, Derma Doctor Revenge Facial Wrinkle cream is great too.

What ever you do don%26#039;t buy a cream containing collagen. As the density of this collagen cannot penetrate the layers of skin on your face. It does however have a good moisturising effect.

Hope this helps|||alas there are no such creams that build collagen, that%26#039;s just advertising hooey! Face creams cannot penetrate deep enough into the surface of the skin to have any effect on the collagen levels. If you need to fill in specific areas with collagen I would suggest collagen injections. You will have to do an allergy test before you can have the injections though as some people can have a reaction to the jabs. Hope this helps.
