Hello all, recently my dreaded eczema (hope that%26#039;s spelled right) has returned, on my hands, feet and eyelids, oddly.
Can anyone recommend me some good creams? It%26#039;s driving me mad!
Thanks very much!|||Over the counter Cortisone 1% cream can be helpful, however; it would not be good to use it on your eyelids. I have had some success with Nizoral shampoo and find that even using it on the dry scales on my skin seems to ease it. The ingredients in Nizoral are not the same as those in other dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis. Nizoral treats the overgrowth of yeast which seems to be a factor in a lot of the skin conditions, including eczema. The creams can create a vicious cycle so sometimes addressing the problem with this shampoo can help to stop the cycle...|||Ok, YOU CANNOT CURE ECZEMA but this will work without a prescription, CORTIZONE will not cure it either, but will actually over time make you skin weaker, quick fix but not that great, so hear you go.
Everymorning after you wash your hands use a barrier cream(wellskin is the one i use) made with silicone, there ae others out there but this one is the best, it will coat you hands for most of the day. If you notice eczema acting up then use %26#039;Vaseline Creamy%26#039; nothing else, its awesome, doesn%26#039;t sting or anything, also not that expensive, the barrier cream is a littl more expensiz but well worth it. Trust me. This works wonders!!!
I work as a chef and always my hands are in acidic juices and washing htem eall the time and i swear by this method
TRY IT|||My answer does not include a cream but my brother suffers from it. He drinks a litre of goats milk (find in the freezer section in any supermarket) over a couple of days and it goes away quickly. I know its difficult but he generally drinks a glass of goat%26#039;s milk every other day and eczema is not a problem for him.|||Cetaphil is what was recommened to me by my dr. years ago....you may want to try it. I am fortunate enough to not have to use it anymore and can keep mine at bay with regular and constant lotion application, usually the unscented or ultra-moisturizing kind. If Cetaphil doesn%26#039;t work for you, you may want your doc to prescribe a topical steriod cream that can be used sparingly. Much luck-|||Omg I get have eczema my entire life!! I HATE IT. Ok, well my doctor gave me Cortisone cream to put on it, (i think its spelled right) but it only works because it is a powerful prescription, over the counter drugs don%26#039;t work. So, I would make an appointment with a doctor to get a good prescription.|||Virgin Olive Oil.

but if it just came back and was gone, it is stressed induced. you need to find a way to balance those stresses in your life and continue to use cream to keep skin from drying, even if no longer there because you will always be susceptible. at an older age, you may outgrow.|||i use advantan, elidel and Dermovate and it works but u have to keep using them, must be maintained and it will keep it off!!
Can somebody find a cure for this rash already!!! lol|||elecon, might not remove the eczema completely, but will defintalely help reduce redness and itchiness. hope this helps.|||the only way to truly aid in the relief of eczema is a prescription steroid cream.|||E45, Enquire about this at you%26#039;re local chemists.|||Vasaline is really good It is tyra banks 1# beaty tip!|||i know what you feel like i use E45 it sooths me,!!
