My 17 month old has eczema and it seems that I can%26#039;t really find a good moisturizing cream for her. She has a humidifier in her room and the doc gave me 1% Hydrocortisone cream to use when she gets really itchy. Any suggestions on a good cream? Thanks in advance!|||Well, the hydrocortisone will help with the redness and itching, but it may dry her out even more! What about aquaphor, corn huskers lotion, lubriderm, cetaphil. Aquaphor is probably the messiest, but may be good to put on her at night.
Hope you find something for the little one!
|||I am an eczema sufferer and have been enjoying the relief from goats soap, it gives my skin moisture (hydration of the skin is a big problem)
I am not going to be able to help much because I am on the other side of the world and we all have different treatments, one rule of thumb is, if you see an ingredient that you can pronounce do not buy it, there is a lot testing involved sadly and not everything works.
I hope your little one is relieved of her itch and I hope the pain eases.|||Hello there. I suggest that you should try anti-eczema cream/spray combo from Champori.com It is herbal (steroid-free) and works better and faster on my eczema than anything else I tried: I haven%26#039;t had a relapse for more than a year now after only a couple weeks of treatment. Try it. Champori comes with the money back guarantee, so if it doesn%26#039;t work - it%26#039;s free.
Best,
Bernadette|||Need to take it easy with the hydrocortisone - normally only for over two.
The National Eczema Association site list ingredients to avoid in skin care and baby wash type products. They also rate different products its worth a look

We get the generic version and it is only like $15 at Wal-Mart. It is AWESOME and only takes a tiny bit! We%26#039;ve been through all kinds of stuff...but the Elocon is the bomb!|||Try this: http://heather.myrandf.com/Shopping/Prod鈥?/a> I use it on my son and it%26#039;s 100% guaranteed to work or you get your money back. This size tub has lasted us 8 months so far and we use it every day. It%26#039;s a great product and the first thing that has kept his skin under control.
